BW Ultra with PID

The Honeywell BW Ultra is a pumped portable five-gas detector.  Designed specifically for sampling and monitoring confined spaces, before and after entry, the Honeywell BW Ultra has enhanced sensor technology, visibility on gas readings, comfort, and connectivity. This makes it the most reliable and user-friendly way to prevent a safety incident.

The BW Ultra provides the functionality of a standard 4 gas detector (LEL, O2, CO, H2S).  With a PID installed in the 5^th sensor spit you get the ability to detect toxic gases far below their explosive limit.  This has applications for a range of chemicals found in Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing and Industrial Solvents.

Gases Monitored

• Flammables (catalytic LEL sensor): 0- 100% LEL, 1% LEL resolution
• Oxygen: 0.0% – 25.0% vol, 0.1% vol resolution
• Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S): 0.0ppm -100ppm, 0.1/1ppm resolution
• Carbon Monoxide (CO): 0 – 2000ppm, 1ppm resolution
• VOCs: 0 – 1000ppm, 1ppm resolution

The BW Ultra can be used for continuous monitoring of a confined space using the supplied field replaceable batteries.   These will operate the unit for up to 14h and can be charged separate to the detector in 8h.
