The Schaffner/Teseq 438 generates an electrostatic charge for immunity testing. The peak discharge voltage of the gun is adjustable from 200 volt to 30 kV in 100 volt steps. Single or repetitive pulses are provided. For repetitive pulses, frequency is adjustable from 0.5 to 25Hz in five steps. Test pulses can be positive or negative polarity or alternating polarity. A pulse counter allows forward or backward counting presets to 9999
counts. Included is a contact and air discharge tip and various removable INA discharge networks. Performs test to IEC61000-4-2 (AKA, IEC 1000-4-2) standards.
