Ideal for tracing cables in walls and underground, locating fuses/breakers on final circuits and locating interruptions and short-circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems. Can be used for tracing metallic water and heating pipes. Supplied as a kit comprising a transmitter and receiver in a carry case. Voltage measurement range 12 to 400 volts. Frequency range 0 to 60Hz. Transmitter output signal 125kHz. Transmitter voltage 0 to 400V ac/dc. Depth location 0 to 2.5m. Receiver voltage detection range 0 to 0.4m. The receiver incorporates a torch for working in dimly lit locations.
