Air conditioning not working properly
To correctly set-up an air-conditioning system we need to measure the air flow from each ceiling vent. To measure this air flow we use a balometer. The balometer or air balancing hood is the instrument of preference when measuring air flow from ceiling diffusers in office HVAC installations. The basic hood size is nominally 600 x 600 mm, but other sizes are available depending on the instrument selected. Related air flow measuring devices used in HVAC systems are anemometers, manometers, and pitot tubes.
