Reducing your operating pressure by just 100kPa can save 8 per cent on your power bills. Every 100kPa reduction in operating pressure can save around 8 per cent on power costs.
Reduce the compressor input air temperature. A 3°C reduction in inlet temperature can reduce the amount of electricity required to run your compressor by around 1 per cent. It might be as simple as relocating the air intake to a cooler location in your plant.
