Description

The HV Diagnostics HVA30 30 kV VLF/DC Test Set is a compact, high-voltage instrument designed for very-low-frequency (VLF) and DC withstand testing of medium-voltage power cables, generators, switchgear and other high-capacity assets. Available exclusively for rent or hire, it delivers up to 30 kV RMS sinusoidal output at 0.1 Hz, making it ideal for commissioning, maintenance and fault-location support in utility, industrial and service-provider environments.

Developed by OEM H V Diagnostics, the HVA30 automatically performs VLF withstand tests and optional DC or step-voltage sequences, while continuously monitoring voltage, current and load capacitance. A single-piece, oil-free design keeps the unit lightweight and field-portable, and its intuitive keypad interface with back-lit display provides straightforward operation for technicians in challenging on-site conditions.

Returns

Rental equipment can be returned the day after use, but fees may apply for returns after 10am. To avoid additional charges, it’s recommended to return equipment before 10am. Returns can be made by dropping off the equipment at the original collection point, any TechRentals office, or by sending it back via delivery.
